Licensed Immigration Adviser
Tamara is a first generation Samoan New Zealander. She grew up amongst a tight knit Pasifika community in Palmerston North.
Tamara holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Victoria University, Wellington. Searching for her niche in legal practice, she worked for Immigration New Zealand (INZ) as an Immigration Officer. There she gained valuable insight into INZ operations.
In 2015 she became a fully licensed immigration adviser. As part of this process she obtained the Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic, Tauranga.
Tamara has a meticulous approach to understanding immigration law. She is a fierce advocate for her clients. She understands the emotional and financial investment that immigration processes demand. Her advice is up-front, pragmatic and provided with a long view towards an applicant's goals: whether it be citizenship or the opportunity to experience NZ short term.
Tamara has helped clients from around the globe and loves learning about clients' culture. She is fluent in Samoan and Japanese.
